What you will do

• Design and automate reliable, scalable data pipelines and workflows using dbt and Airflow.
• Optimize heavy Trino/Athena queries over 5TB+ daily data volumes for speed and cost-efficiency.
• Perform complex, memory-efficient data manipulation and statistical modeling using Python.
• Apply statistical methods (Power Analysis, P-values, Bayesian frameworks) to evaluate SDK-side A/B tests.
• Translate complex statistical analyses and real-time campaign performance into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts to scale the team's overall impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analysis experience with a track record of bridging business ideas to technical solutions.
• Mastery of SQL, including Window Functions, CTEs, and deeply nested JSON/Map types.
• Deep Python expertise for high-volume, memory-efficient data processing.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Airflow for pipeline automation.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, or a related math-heavy field.
• Must be willing to relocate to Hamburg, Germany.
