Salary: $122,440–$232,190 USD

What you will do
- Define partition floorplans including macro and pin placements while adhering to chip-level constraints.
- Collaborate with RTL designers to define timing constraints and execute synthesis and place-and-route trials.
- Resolve timing, EM/IR, and DRC violations to ensure design integrity.
- Run back-annotated VCS+SDF simulations to verify power and performance targets.
- Develop custom scripts and tool flows to optimize synthesis and physical design processes.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US (Hillsboro, OR; Folsom, San Jose, or Santa Clara, CA).
- Bachelors with 4+ years, Masters with 3+ years, or PhD with hands-on physical design experience.
- 3+ years of experience in synthesis, place and route, and timing/layout closure.
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, or Python.
Nice to have
- Experience with Synopsys tools (Fusion Compiler, Primetime, VCS).
- Knowledge of chiplet integration and advanced packaging.
- Experience in EDA/CAD software development using C++ or Java.
- Familiarity with asynchronous architectures and circuits.
