Senior Fullstack Engineer (AdTech)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/React): Designing and building high-performance AdTech solutions for a Retail Media ecosystem with an accent on clean architecture, data performance, and user-centric development. Location: Must be based in Germany; hybrid setup with regular team anchor days in Cologne.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize Node.js/TypeScript-based microservices with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Build React applications using Next.js and Material-UI, implementing complex form logic and JSONSchema validation.
• Integrate high-throughput data systems including MongoDB, Redis, and Algolia for real-time ad delivery.
• Manage reliable distributed message queuing and background processing using BullMQ and RabbitMQ.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to turn business needs into end-to-end technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Deep experience building scalable microservices and frontend applications in cloud-native environments.
• Must be based in Germany.
• Proven experience integrating AI into real systems and shipping features.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AdTech or Retail Media platforms such as Kevel, Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, or TopSort.
