What you will do

• Develop systems and tooling for AI agent evaluation at scale.
• Build robust backend services, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Design and deliver polished user-facing tools for internal and customer use.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and AI/ML engineers to improve AI agent reliability.
• Influence technical direction, raise engineering quality, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building web applications with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Strong expertise in designing backend services and event-driven systems.
• Deep understanding of clean architecture, testing strategies, and observability.
• Ability to drive complex projects independently from ambiguity to execution.
• Must be based in Berlin, Germany for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and relational/NoSQL data modeling.
• Familiarity with AI agentic tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Python experience for testing, automation, or data processing.
• Prior experience building evaluation systems or AI quality tooling.
