What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, testable code to expand platform core services, scalability, and resilience.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and code quality issues across application, ingestion, and data layers.
• Take ownership of engineering initiatives to promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Security teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, test automation, and production support.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Atlanta, GA (for hybrid work) or Canada (for remote work).
• 5-10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with ClickHouse (table design, distributed cluster design, ClickHouse Keeper, and TTL policies).
• Strong proficiency in C#, Go, and Docker.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and high proficiency in Unix/Linux platforms.
• Solid understanding of high-performance distributed systems and DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, including event-driven or streaming architectures.
• Knowledge of Redis and OpenSearch.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud solutions and managed services.
• Strong foundation in Linux file systems, memory, and multi-threading.
