Commercial Painter

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, with mobile service work across southern Ontario, including the extended GTA, Windsor, Niagara, Ottawa, and Orillia.

Salary: CAD 25–35 per hour

What you will do

• Paint and refinish interiors including washrooms, lunchrooms, commercial sales spaces, and offices.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, scraping, sanding, priming, and masking.
• Perform light wall and drywall repairs, including patching holes, cracks, and minor damage.
• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and professional tools.
• Respond to client service calls, work from drawings and specifications, and support larger renovation projects.
• Clean completed work areas, report major repairs beyond the painting scope, and maintain job records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of painting experience, preferably in service or maintenance roles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for operating a company service vehicle.
• Ability to obtain and retain security clearances for government facilities.
• Ability to complete and maintain Working at Heights certification and perform physical duties including lifting and climbing.
