TL;DR

Software Engineer II, Calibration (Robotics): Developing and optimizing real-time sensor calibration algorithms for autonomous vehicles with an accent on high-performance C++ and safety-critical software. Location: Hybrid; must be based in or able to work from one of hirify.global's US offices (at least 3 days per week)

Salary: $160,000 - $262,000 per Year

What you will do

• Develop efficient algorithms to process sensor data in real-time.
• Manage end-to-end ownership of online calibration software, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, manufacturing, and operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience building software for safety-critical applications.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (17+), focusing on high-performance and production-quality engineering.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Ability to work from a physical office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in sensor calibration for cameras, lidars, radars, and/or IMUs.
• Prior experience within robotics or autonomous vehicle domains.
• Experience with Eigen or other linear algebra libraries.
• Experience with Ceres, G2O, or other optimization libraries.
