What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of Commercial and Enterprise customers, monitoring account health and identifying expansion or churn risks.
• Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders to align dbt Cloud capabilities with their analytics needs.
• Educate the customer base on new product features and existing functionalities to increase product value.
• Collaborate with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects to provide strategic input on the customer lifecycle and renewals.
• Act as the voice of the customer in product discussions to influence the product roadmap.
• Create external-facing technical content, including live events, blog posts, and tutorials.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX for a hybrid work arrangement.
• 2+ years of experience in a post-sales role (e.g., Technical Account Manager or CSE).
• Solid technical background in modern data warehousing architectures and the analytics stack.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience presenting to various stakeholders and operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to travel for internal and external events.

Nice to have

• dbt certification or prior experience with dbt.
• Basic Python competency and advanced SQL knowledge.
• Experience managing data infrastructure and working with APIs.
