Staff Engineer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Staff Engineer (Fullstack): Developing customer-facing B2B sales and marketing products using a modern tech stack with an accent on architectural design and the integration of Agentic AI. Focus on building scalable NodeJS microservices, leading technical implementation from requirements to production, and optimizing DevSecOps pipelines.

Location: Hybrid (Manchester Hub, UK). On-site attendance required one day per week.

What you will do

• Lead technical design, scoping, and system architecture for customer-facing products.
• Develop and implement scalable NodeJS microservices and Vue frontends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to define Epics and Stories.
• Build POCs to resolve technical uncertainty and implement high-performance code.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and operability using DevSecOps methodologies.
• Serve as an embedded architect within an Agentic AI environment.

Requirements

• TypeScript fluency with approximately 5+ years of experience.
• Strong experience in full-stack development for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency with clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience working in mature CI/CD environments with daily production deployments.
• Ability to work hybridly from the Manchester Hub (on-site 1 day/week).
• Technical/computer science degree or equivalent professional experience.
