What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of platform capabilities across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Define architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices across the team.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions using React, Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Drive innovation by integrating AI capabilities and improving internal engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical capabilities into product value.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with React, Next.js (App Router), Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in frontend architecture, including SSR, ISR, caching, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience designing and tuning PostgreSQL databases and schemas.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Ability to undergo and obtain UK Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architecture, microservices, or event-driven systems.
• Exposure to data engineering pipelines or analytics platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks or LLM integrations.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., NHS, DSPT compliance).
