Product Engineer III (UAV)

What you will do

• Sustain engineering support for UAV product lines, including structural and electro-mechanical design modifications.
• Manage product configuration and change orders using the Agile PLM system.
• Act as the technical point of contact for manufacturing and customer issues escalated to engineering.
• Coordinate the release of engineering documentation, bills of materials (BOM), and production tooling.
• Manage component obsolescence and perform failure analysis for customer support.
• Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing to resolve technical issues impacting production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 5-8 years of experience in an engineering design environment supporting production.
• Lean Six Sigma experience or Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency in CAD (Altium) and ASME Y14 drawing standards.
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Green Card, etc.) to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Strong understanding of configuration management and general engineering fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Experience with unmanned air vehicles (UAVs).
• Experience with Agile PLM data management and MIL-HDBK-61A/EIA-649-B standards.
• Competency in solving structural dynamics problems.
