What you will do

• Supervise daily accounting activities, including task allocation, deadline tracking, and coaching junior staff.
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate and execute assigned month-end close activities and support variance analysis for management review.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation standards for external audits.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose system or process improvements to the Senior Accounting Manager.
• Act as the primary point of contact for operational queries from AP, AR, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to US GAAP.
• 1+ year of experience supervising or leading junior accounting staff.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Location: Must be based in New York or San Francisco.
