Overview

Lead the Solutions engineering team to shape the future of Web3 by delivering ecosystem-critical features across the NEAR Protocol stack. Balance technical leadership with strategic decision-making to drive innovation and growth.

What you will do

• Drive technical vision and architecture for critical NEAR Protocol features.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering with business goals.
• Communicate progress and risks to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years leading engineering teams in fast-paced environments
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers.
• Hands-on with systems-level languages like Rust, C, C++, or Go.
• Strong technical vision and architectural decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in rapidly evolving environments with shifting priorities

Nice to have

• Experience with NEAR Protocol or other blockchain platforms.
• Familiarity with web3 technologies and decentralized applications.
• Open-source contributions in blockchain space.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and distributed systems.
