Sr Platform Engineer (Healthcare)

Salary: $127,900–$185,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy reusable platform foundations and secure platform services.
• Build healthcare integrations, APIs, and data exchange capabilities using reusable patterns.
• Develop backend services with Java, TypeScript, Go, or .NET and frontend applications with React/Next.js.
• Deploy and operate healthcare solutions on Google Cloud Platform using cloud-native and infrastructure patterns.
• Automate delivery with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and deployment tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, data, solutions, and implementation teams to deliver the technical roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant information technology field or at least 7 years of progressively complex full-stack engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of experience working in diverse Agile software development environments.
• Full-stack engineering experience with a strong emphasis on healthcare interoperability and healthcare solution integration.
• Backend proficiency in Java and/or .NET, including API and service design, plus JavaScript and React/Next.js frontend development.
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform or equivalent cloud experience and familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and OMOP.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of healthcare data security and compliance requirements, including HIPAA.
