Controls Technician (HVAC): Maintaining, servicing, and commissioning computerized automated building controls with an accent on BAS control system installation and HVAC network troubleshooting. Location: Onsite in Longueuil, QC, Canada. Must be able to work across various sites.

Salary: CAD 65,000 - 75,000 yearly

What you will do

• Install, wire, and commission BAS control systems, including DDC panels, sensors, and actuators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC controls, networks, and system integration.
• Modify and update control sequences and graphics as required.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts and comprehensive system verification.
• Coordinate on-site activities with mechanical contractors and electricians.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including redlines and service reports.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
• Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
• 2-5 years of experience in building controls or the construction industry.
• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Control Technologies.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clear driving abstract.
• Proficiency with PCs and general computer literacy.
