Enterprise Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: London, UK; hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Lead the technical relationship with a major UK banking customer and advise senior stakeholders up to CIO level.
• Develop multi-year technology and solution roadmaps aligned with customer priorities, industry developments, and BT’s technology portfolio.
• Manage architectural and technical governance, risks, mitigations, and issue resolution.
• Provide technical leadership across virtual and operational teams during major incidents and customer-impacting situations.
• Partner with commercial and delivery teams to improve customer value, delivery quality, and customer experience.

Requirements

• Strong experience leading complex enterprise architecture, technology strategies, and roadmaps.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-management skills with senior and C-suite stakeholders.
• Broad technology knowledge with experience in solution delivery, architectural governance, risk management, and commercial judgement.
• Comfort working in a hybrid arrangement with 3 office days per week in London.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise networking, including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, segmentation, and software-defined networking.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including Zero Trust, IAM, IDS/IPS, SASE, firewalls, and secure access.
• Experience with proxy and network security platforms, collaboration and contact centre solutions, public or private cloud, Terraform, NetBrain, TOGAF, MBSE, ITIL, or DevOps.
• Background in policing, government, critical national infrastructure, or another highly regulated environment.
