Data Center Technician (AI)

Data Center Technician (AI): Ensuring the physical deployment and operational stability of high-performance GPU and networking infrastructure with an accent on hardware troubleshooting, power distribution, and cable management. Focus on managing large-scale server deployments, optimizing data center layout, and resolving complex hardware incidents in advanced AI systems.

Location: On-site in Quincy, WA (Must be present 5 days per week)

Salary: $109K – $145K

What you will do

• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in advanced GPU and Networking systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology using DCIM software.
• Manage parts depot inventory and track equipment through the deployment lifecycle.
• Partner with HW Support and RMA teams to resolve incidents and manage faulty parts.
• Collaborate with product management and support teams to align operations with company goals.

Requirements

• Experience with critical data center infrastructure: power distribution, airflow, and environmental monitoring.
• Familiarity with fiber testing, troubleshooting, and carrier DIA circuit turn-ups.
• Solid understanding of single and three-phase power theories and PDU balancing.
• Knowledge of server hardware, boot processes, and cold/hot aisle containment.
• Ability to create and iteratively improve complex maintenance MOPs.
• Willingness to travel for the bring-up of new data center locations as needed.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with critical data center infrastructure systems.
• Knowledge of 400gb Infiniband architectures and network topology.
• Experience with DDP or SCM cluster storage systems.
• Proficiency with ticketing systems such as JIRA and Zendesk.
• Advanced Linux administration skills.
• Experience with High Performance Compute GPU systems, specifically Nvidia NVL72.
