IT Business Analyst (Payment)

What you will do

• Act as the internal and external expert and primary contact for a specific hirify.global Pay Front Office instance.
• Define scope, epics, features, user stories, enablers, defects, and acceptance criteria for the Agile development squad.
• Build and maintain the squad backlog, support estimation and sequencing, and evaluate sprint results.
• Coordinate with product management, software architecture, management, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain product and technical integrity, identify dependencies, and contribute to solution development.
• Configure the platform using SQL, resolve incidents, and train other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT services and software development, preferably in electronic payments.
• Experience in complex international environments and with scaled Agile frameworks such as LeSS or SAFe and/or DevOps.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and operate effectively under short timelines and strict deadlines.
• Basic Linux knowledge, C++ code-reading ability, SQL reading and writing skills, and basic shell scripting capabilities.
• Structured analytical thinking, presentation skills, and strong communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the payment domain, cloud services, continuous integration, or continuous delivery.
• Experience with cloud environments or cloud-based applications.
• Practical experience applying AI-driven solutions to optimize workflows or business analysis processes.
