IT Business Analyst (Cards)

What you will do

• Interpret and clarify business requirements, refine the product backlog, and translate needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Design and validate technical solution options with developers and Product Owners.
• Lead requirements, business process definition, and solution design sessions with business owners, system owners, and end users.
• Define technical specifications, estimate complexity, and collaborate with developers, architects, and feature engineers.
• Ensure software quality, including security, performance, availability, scalability, and compliance with requirements.
• Create, execute, and optimize automated functional, integration, user acceptance, smoke, and production tests; provide documentation, training, and technical support.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in banking, ideally on the bank side of card issuing.
• Experience with Worldline or another card processor, and with APIs such as CABI or AMS API.
• Experience with relational databases, ideally Oracle, and ability to use SQL.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, self-contained systems, ITIL processes, provider management, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working in both agile and non-agile projects, with a technical background that includes reading and understanding code.
• Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, or an equivalent field; English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of payments, including SEPA and SWIFT.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX financial messaging protocols.
• Experience with automation frameworks.
• German language skills.
