What you will do
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects specializing in stormwater or water/wastewater conveyance and treatment.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and staffing while acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Provide senior-level technical oversight for hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) modeling, drainage studies, and system capacity evaluations.
- Review and approve engineering reports, specifications, and plans to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate closely with roadway, structural, geotechnical, and utility disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Mentor and supervise engineers and designers, conducting technical reviews and upholding quality control standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in stormwater, water & wastewater, or water resources engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in OpenRoads, Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD.
- Proven ability to lead teams, communicate with clients, and manage complex municipal project lifecycles.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Draper, Utah.
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, StormCAD, or similar hydraulic tools.
- FEMA floodplain mapping and agency coordination experience.
- Experience with UDOT or Mountain West municipal projects.
