What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects specializing in stormwater or water/wastewater conveyance and treatment.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and staffing while acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Provide senior-level technical oversight for hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) modeling, drainage studies, and system capacity evaluations.
• Review and approve engineering reports, specifications, and plans to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate closely with roadway, structural, geotechnical, and utility disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Mentor and supervise engineers and designers, conducting technical reviews and upholding quality control standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in stormwater, water & wastewater, or water resources engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads, Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate with clients, and manage complex municipal project lifecycles.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Draper, Utah.

Nice to have

• Experience with HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, StormCAD, or similar hydraulic tools.
• FEMA floodplain mapping and agency coordination experience.
• Experience with UDOT or Mountain West municipal projects.
