What you will do

• Manage, schedule, and conduct physical and virtual audits for Commercial Lines policies to ensure accurate earned premiums.
• Review insured business operations and examine financial/business records to verify exposures and classifications.
• Travel within the assigned territory to visit insureds, representing approximately 70-80% of work time.
• Communicate changes in exposures, products, or business operations to the underwriting team.
• Resolve audit disputes, analyze pertinent facts, and prepare amended audits for billing.
• Serve as a resource, trainer, and mentor for other Premium Auditors.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to travel within the assigned US territories.
• 3+ years of experience as a physical Premium Auditor.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to climb stairs and consistently carry 20 pounds.
• College degree in Insurance, Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Successful completion of Associate in Premium Auditing 91 (APA 91) and Associate in Premium Auditing 92 (APA 92).
