Data Literacy & Stewardship Associate Business Optimization Strategist (Data Analytics)

Location: Home Work - Must be local to Monongalia County, WV

What you will do

• Build data literacy across non-technical departments, helping end users become self-sufficient with reporting tools.
• Support users in interpreting Epic reports and navigating Tableau and Power BI/Fabric dashboards.
• Serve as an associate-level data steward to monitor data quality, flag inconsistencies, and route issues.
• Create accessible enablement materials, including job aids, quick-reference guides, and how-to content.
• Gather and synthesize end-user feedback to improve report usability, clarity, and data trust.
• Perform data analysis and create queries and automation under the direction of experienced analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Hospital Administration, or 4 years of data analytics experience.
• Must obtain EPIC official designation of "Proficient" within the new hire probationary period.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English.
• Strong critical thinking skills to assess analytical needs and determine appropriate courses of action.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience working with relational database structures, including design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Structured Query Language (SQL/Oracle) and business intelligence tools.
