Backend Software Dev Engineer II (AI/ML)

Location: United States of America. Hybrid work options available; occasional in-person attendance may be required.

Salary: $111,000 - $231,250 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performing AntiSpam and Delivery systems.
• Implement advanced ML/AI algorithms to protect users from fraud and abuse.
• Design and build resilient distributed systems to handle billions of messages daily.
• Optimize server applications on Unix for high availability and throughput.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create next-generation email experiences.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development using Golang, Java, or C++.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and public cloud technologies (GCP, AWS).
• Hands-on experience with AI coding and Machine Learning knowledge.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably in GCP).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, HBase, Spark).
• Knowledge of queuing and streaming tools like Kafka or Apache Storm.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby).
• Understanding of network programming and client/server architecture.
• Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
