What you will do

• Conduct regular community outreach and awareness-raising activities on protection issues.
• Identify individuals and households with specific protection needs and facilitate safe, ethical referrals.
• Support the establishment and strengthening of community-based protection structures.
• Collect and report information on protection risks, incidents, and community concerns.
• Facilitate sensitization sessions on topics including child protection, GBV, and human rights.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular activity reports using organizational tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of GCE A levels required.
• 1-3 years of experience in humanitarian, protection, or social work programs.
• Fluency in English required.
• Knowledge of local languages spoken in the intervention area is highly desirable.
• Understanding of humanitarian protection principles and referral pathways.
• Ability to conduct frequent field visits in challenging environments.

Nice to have

• Diploma or certification in Social Work, Community Development, or Human Rights.
• Bilingual (English/French) candidates have an advantage.
• Experience working with displaced populations, refugees, or returnees.
