Location: Hybrid role based at the site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States, with on-site and off-site work. Some domestic and international travel is required.
Annual salary: $164,470β$232,190 USD

What you will do
- Drive yield and defect improvement across the advanced packaging technology portfolio.
- Extract insights from large structured and unstructured datasets using statistical methods and machine learning.
- Set priorities, develop recommendations, and influence the yield improvement roadmap.
- Analyze electrical and physical failures, inline defect metrology, process flows, and sort/test data.
- Prepare reports on yield and device health and determine actions needed to achieve best-in-class yield.
- Partner with process engineering, integration, quality, product, and test development teams during technology transfer and ramp into high-volume manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, master's degree with at least 4 years, or PhD with at least 2 years in a relevant technical field.
- Relevant fields include materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, information systems, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of data analysis experience using JMP, Python, or other data engineering software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, influence stakeholders, and direct cross-functional teams across organizational boundaries.
- Understanding of electrical and physical failures, FIFA, DFT, sort/test, integration and process flow, databases, data manipulation, data mining, and data visualization.

- In-depth understanding and hands-on application of statistical analysis.
- Structured technical problem-solving experience.
- Understanding of product design, circuits, and architecture as applied to yield analysis.
- Understanding of inline metrology capabilities and defect detection systems.
