What you will do

• Lead new system installations on-site, directing third-party contractors and ensuring high-quality execution.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real-time under pressure.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance services across various client sites.
• Review site layouts using AutoCAD to ensure technical feasibility and accuracy.
• Author technical documentation, including installation and service reports.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers in the field.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Field Engineer or Technician in hardware/software installation and deployment.
• Proven experience leading teams or contractors during technical installations.
• Hands-on proficiency in civil works, networking, electrical wiring, and mechanical assemblies.
• Working knowledge of Linux-based systems and basic networking principles.
• Experience using AutoCAD or Autodesk to generate and interpret site layouts.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 90% across the US.

Nice to have

• Experience working in startup companies.
• Certified electrician diploma or a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Additional knowledge in scripting or advanced troubleshooting.
