What you will do

• Own and execute the security roadmap for multi-cloud control planes and customer-hosted deployments.
• Architect critical security guardrails, including IAM, RBAC, and secure agent-tool integration.
• Serve as the first responder for penetration testing, security audits, and CVEs.
• Integrate security testing (SAST/DAST/SCA) as a paved road within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Threat model real systems and translate findings into a long-term security strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in security engineering.
• Proven ability to ship production code in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Expertise in multi-cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) including KMS and tenant isolation.
• Experience designing RBAC and authorization systems across products and platforms.
• Proficiency in threat modeling and implementing security analysis in CI/CD.
• Must be based in the Santa Clara, CA office.

Nice to have

• OSCP or CKS certifications.
• Kubernetes (K8s) security expertise.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• Red-team or detection engineering experience.
