What you will do

• Architect and evolve cloud security guardrails using SCPs, GCP org policies, and IAM controls.
• Build automation and integrations with CSPM/DSPM tools to discover and prioritize security issues.
• Own the cloud security exception lifecycle, maintaining tooling for request, review, and tracking.
• Partner with platform teams to permanently eliminate systemic cloud security risks.
• Develop risk-based prioritization through data pipelines and dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Respond to and triage cloud security alerts as part of on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience as a software or security engineer.
• 4+ years of experience securing large-scale infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
• Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and organizational guardrail deployment.
• Strong understanding of IAM (AWS IAM policies, roles, SCPs, GCP IAM, service accounts).
• Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in production.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes security (pod security policies, network policies) in EKS or GKE.
• Familiarity with BI and data tools like Looker and Snowflake for security metrics.
• Experience building security exception or risk acceptance workflows at scale.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and network segmentation strategies.
