IT Analyst

TL;DR

IT Analyst (IT Operations): Providing end-user support and managing day-to-day IT operations with an accent on Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and identity management. Focus on automating repetitive tasks via scripting and scaling support capabilities from help desk to systems administration.

Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK). Must be based in or near the Bristol area and legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom (no sponsorship provided).

What you will do

• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and account issues via the ticketing system.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365, managing user accounts, permissions, and licensing.
• Support and troubleshoot cloud collaboration tools such as OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Perform basic scripting and automation using PowerShell and Python to streamline IT tasks.
• Manage identity and access processes through Okta administration.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and equipment setup.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a help desk, IT support, or junior systems administration role.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Zendesk, Jira Service Management, or ServiceNow.
• Basic scripting ability in PowerShell and/or Python for automation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
• Based in or near the Bristol area for hybrid office attendance (2 days per week).

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to systems administration tasks involving servers, backups, and infrastructure.
• Experience supporting distributed global teams across different time zones.
