Salary: $62,000–$141,000 (annualized USD).

What you will do

  • Serve as the lead administrator for enterprise SAS platforms including SAS 9.x, Grid, and Viya.
  • Manage platform architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance across servers and BI platforms.
  • Oversee security protocols and governance to ensure protection of PHI and PII under federal regulations.
  • Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot environments supporting approximately 3,500 users.
  • Integrate SAS with Python, R, SQL, and other technologies to support machine learning and research workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop automated reporting tools for healthcare decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SAS platform administration within regulated enterprise environments.
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • Experience with SAS technologies including STAT, ETS, Viya, Grid, and Enterprise Guide.
  • Proficiency in healthcare database integration (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.).
  • Experience with RHEL and Windows Server administration.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs systems and reporting mandates.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, PII, and PHI data security standards.
  • SAS Certifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
