What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and improve Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments.
• Design and support scalable log ingestion patterns across infrastructure, Azure cloud platforms, applications, and SaaS tools.
• Monitor platform health and optimize search performance, index utilization, and storage efficiency.
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, and knowledge objects to accelerate issue resolution.
• Lead data onboarding efforts, including sourcetype strategy, CIM alignment, and HEC integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Splunk architecture, operating systems, network paths, and data pipelines.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience administering or architecting Splunk in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on proficiency with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and advanced SPL skills.
• Experience onboarding data from multiple sources, including servers, network devices, and APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or REST APIs.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Splunk certifications (e.g., Core Certified Power User, Enterprise Admin, Architect).
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security or Edge Processor.
• Knowledge of SOX, audit, and compliance reporting workflows.
• Experience with Azure Event Hub, cloud-to-cloud ingestion, and high availability patterns.
