Salary: $150,000 - $206,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead the Florida LabOps team, coordinating daily priorities, workloads, and operational coverage.
• Establish procedures, training, documentation, and escalation practices for the launch of the Florida facility.
• Oversee cryostat cooldowns, warmups, and payload operations, including scheduling and maintenance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical guidance and troubleshooting.
• Enforce approved safety procedures and operational standards.
• Coordinate priorities and dependencies with engineering, packaging, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied sciences, physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in laboratory operations, cryogenic systems, or complex technical environments.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating technical teams.
• Hands-on familiarity with experimental hardware, instrumentation, or lab infrastructure.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, etc.) to qualify for required security clearance.
• Willingness and ability to temporarily relocate to Burnaby, BC, Canada for training up to 180 days.
