What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Engineers and Specialists to foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
  • Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and reliability of the production fleet to ensure high system uptime.
  • Develop and administer service policies, procedures, and response protocols in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead preventative and corrective action initiatives, including root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage key customer, site host, and vendor relationships to ensure operational continuity.
  • Oversee service tools, technical documentation, and lifecycle planning for hardware components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting complex electro-mechanical systems in high-tech or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and developing high-performing employees.
  • Experience working directly with customers to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience with cryogenic and/or high vacuum systems.
