What you will do

• Drive the integration of QPU fabrication processes from development to production.
• Design and execute experiments to improve device quality and process fidelity.
• Operate and maintain clean room tools including metal deposition, lithography, and etch systems.
• Design in situ metrology regimes to track production health via SPC.
• Mentor junior process engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate space planning, tool selection, and qualification for the new clean room facility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-graduate semiconductor or related industry experience.
• MS or Ph.D in electrical engineering, materials science, or related field.
• Proven track record in complex fabrication process development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing fabrication equipment.
• Expertise in through-silicon vias, indium bump bonding/packaging, or electron beam lithography.
• Ability to work on-site in New Haven, CT.
