What you will do

• Lead system integration activities across electrical, mechanical, cryogenic, software, and control subsystems.
• Define hardware/software interfaces, integration requirements, and system diagnostics in collaboration with the software team.
• Translate cross-functional needs into clear system requirements, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Support system bring-up, commissioning, validation, and sustaining engineering efforts.
• Investigate complex system issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in design reviews, FMEA, and engineering change processes to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, hardware integration, or multidisciplinary technical roles.
• Experience integrating complex systems involving electrical, mechanical, software, or cryogenic elements.
• Strong technical writing skills for requirements, test plans, and troubleshooting guides.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and travel occasionally to North America and Europe.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with cryogenic, vacuum, or superconducting systems.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Linux/UNIX environments.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like CSA, UL, or CE.
• Current or eligible registration as an EIT or P.Eng. with EGBC.
