Location: Onsite in Boca Raton, FL. Must be able to temporarily relocate to Burnaby, BC (Canada) for training up to 180 days.

Salary: $89,000 - $122,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build, install, commission, and maintain quantum computing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair cryogenic, electrical, mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Establish service operations at the new Florida facility, including procedures, tools, and documentation.
• Support production systems through scheduled maintenance and on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with R&D and hardware teams to improve system reliability and serviceability.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and maintain detailed maintenance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting complex electromechanical systems in lab or production environments.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid systems, and electrical equipment.
• Experience with scripting, PLC logic, or languages like Python or C/C++.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
• Ability to obtain work authorization for Canada for the duration of the initial training assignment.

Nice to have

• Experience with cryogenic or high-vacuum systems.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX, networking, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with P&IDs, fluid-control systems, or electromechanical controls.
• Current or eligible Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the United States.
