What you will do

• Design and validate engineering solutions for thermal and mechanical hardware, including electronics enclosures.
• Perform thermal simulation, heatsink design, and data analysis using CFD software to ensure product viability.
• Develop and implement comprehensive parameters and test plans for new and existing designs.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams, as well as outsourced development partners.
• Represent the mechanical/thermal team across all phases of major development projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in thermal design and electronics packaging for high-density, high-power systems.
• Proficiency in CFD software (FloTherm, IcePak, Fluent) and 3D CAD software (Creo/Parametric, SolidWorks).
• Experience in thermal testing using DAQ, thermocouples, thermal chambers, and scripting in Python.
• Must be able to work onsite from an HPE office in California, USA.
