Hardware Test & Integration Engineer (RF)

Location: Wallingford, Connecticut, United States; onsite position. No visa sponsorship or H1B, L2, F1, OPT, CPT, or third-party agency candidates.

Salary: $87,400.00–$1,111,500.00 total compensation range.

What you will do

• Set up, test, and document CATV access network systems and components.
• Perform system-level testing and verification of RF amplifier and access network products.
• Automate laboratory tests and measurement workflows using LabVIEW and Python.
• Use SCPI and GPIB to automate VNA, spectrum analyzer, and signal generator measurements.
• Work with software, firmware, hardware, and test engineers to investigate and resolve product issues.
• Build test systems and move test equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Approximately 10 years of telecommunications or CATV laboratory experience in testing and verification; candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Expert knowledge of CATV access RF technologies, including laser transmitters, EDFAs, receivers, RF nodes, RF amplifiers, Ethernet transport devices, media converters, DWDM and CWDM passives, and digital reverse technologies.
• Strong programming skills in LabVIEW and/or Python, plus familiarity with SCPI, GPIB, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
