Finance Contracts Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; candidates must reside within commutable distance of the office.

Salary: CAD 64,000–71,000 base annually, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Review customer contracts, amendments, pricing arrangements, and subscription activity to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
• Validate rates, discounts, terms, and special conditions across simple and complex contract structures.
• Investigate billing variances, discrepancies, and potential revenue leakage with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Accounts Receivable.
• Support customer inquiries, disputes, credit requests, and billing adjustments through detailed analysis and reconciliation.
• Document and standardize financial processes, improve workflows, and identify automation opportunities.
• Participate in system testing, data-quality initiatives, and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in billing, financial analysis, subscription management, or a similar field.
• Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with large volumes of complex data across multiple systems, including Tableau, JIRA, and Excel reporting.
• AI fluency and/or experience using M365 Copilot.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement and reside within commuting distance of the Mississauga office.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
