Specialist, Employee Relations (HR): Designing and documenting ER processes and frameworks to support operational transition to HR Business Operations with an accent on process standardization and global scalability. Focus on building structured SOPs, harmonizing disciplinary and performance management practices, and implementing scalable operating models across regions.

Location: Hybrid in Montreal, Canada (2-3 days per week onsite)

What you will do

• Optimize and document employee relations workflows to support the transition to HR Business Operations (GSO).
• Create and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs, user guides, manager toolkits, and templates.
• Standardize ER practices globally, focusing on performance management, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Partner with global ER teams to ensure harmonized approaches and best practices across the organization.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation and handle low-to-moderate complexity ER cases.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and knowledge-transfer activities to support ER framework adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, or human resources.
• Proven experience in documenting operational processes and improving service delivery models.
• Proficiency in both English and French.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Montreal (2-3 days per week onsite).

Nice to have

• Experience working within unionized environments.
• Background in large-scale HR transformations or shared services implementations.
• Proficiency with Workday or similar case management platforms.
• Proficiency in a third language.
