What you will do
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes for temporary staff, including application reviews, employment agreements, welcome packages, and orientation materials.
- Enter, review, and maintain hiring, transfer, termination, timesheet, payroll, and benefits data in Workday.
- Prepare reports and analyses from Workday data and present accurate information to decision makers.
- Maintain personnel files, directories, documentation, and administrative records in line with institutional policies.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, attendance, leave, benefits, and collective agreement provisions.
- Supervise or coordinate the work of the HR Clerk and contribute to HR projects and operational planning.
Requirements
- High school graduation, two years of post-secondary education, and four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Knowledge of HR management practices and the ability to apply policies and procedures independently.
- Experience or proficiency with HR systems, especially Workday.
- Intermediate proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong oral and written communication, organization, prioritization, discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail.
