Senior Field Service Engineer

Location: Fully Remote – Buffalo, NY

Salary: $90,000.00–$140,000.00 annually

What you will do

• Lead technical discussions with customers, partners, and vendors across the DAS product portfolio.
• Manage proposals for formal tenders and unsolicited bids.
• Install, commission, and calibrate electronic and control-based systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in fielded equipment.
• Run factory/site acceptance tests (FATs/SATs) and support customer validation using established procedures and test equipment.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support, complete service reports, and deliver customer/internal training; travel 30–50% across North America.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electronic or electromechanical systems.
• Strong technical background in advanced electronic systems and systems integration, including radar/laser/optical systems.
• Strong test and measurement knowledge (e.g., oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot system-level issues across hardware, software, and interfaces.
• Proven experience liaising with US Military customer stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (including domestic and international assignments, sometimes on short notice) and safely work around high-voltage systems.
