What you will do

• Lead teams of engineers and designers in producing structural construction documents and specifications for various project scales.
• Manage construction phase services, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits.
• Perform forensic studies and feasibility assessments for existing structures to be improved or purchased.
• Develop cost-effective structural systems in close collaboration with clients to provide informed design options.
• Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and hourly tracking.
• Mentor junior engineers and structural designers through technical calculations and document reviews.

Requirements

• 8 to 15 years of experience working within a consulting engineering firm.
• BS in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software.
• Strong communication and professional writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet strict project deadlines.
