What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for the structural design of modular data center products and associated site infrastructure.
• Perform advanced static and dynamic analysis on modular steel enclosures, including transportation shock, rigging, and stacking loads.
• Design and seal cold-formed and hot-rolled steel assemblies in accordance with AISC 360 and AISI S100.
• Engineer shallow and deep foundation systems and execute rigorous seismic analysis for high-seismic zones (SDC D, E, F).
• Maintain Structural Revit models and coordinate with MEP disciplines to resolve clashes before fabrication.
• Develop standardized foundation templates (Plan of Record) to compress engineering cycle times across deployments.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 6+ years of experience in industrial, power generation, or mission-critical facility design.
• Expert-level proficiency in RISA-3D, SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and Navisworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of ASCE 7, AISC 360/341, and ACI 318.

Nice to have

• Structural Engineer (SE) license, particularly for CA/NV.
• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with ANSYS or similar FEA tools for advanced connection analysis.
• Background in modular construction, prefabrication, or data center design (Risk Category IV).
