What you will do

• Design complex advanced building systems and prepare design documents, layouts, and specifications.
• Lead project efforts from concept design through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality requirements are met.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance and oversight to less experienced designers and engineers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and customers to expand business opportunities.
• Oversee project quality through regular check-ins and final reviews of designs and drawings.
• Coordinate with architects and contractors to resolve conflicts and verify existing site conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or relevant engineering field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• PE license required for Engineer of Record (EOR) responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Expert knowledge of engineering design codes, A&E industry standards, and design guides.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications such as BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, or RCDD.
• Sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL, etc.).
