What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain clean code for custom applications supporting Portfolio Management, Trading, and Compliance.
• Build and optimize integrations with third-party platforms including Charles River Development (CRD) and SimCorp Dimension.
• Lead cloud migration efforts to transition legacy on-premises applications to AWS cloud environments.
• Write performant SQL queries to manage, retrieve, and store transactional financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile squads and conduct technical peer reviews to ensure code quality.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in backend development using Java and/or Python.
• Strong experience in writing and optimizing SQL for data manipulation.
• Working knowledge of cloud architecture principles, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux operating system environments.
• Must be based in the US for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Professional exposure to financial services, investment systems, or asset management.
• Direct experience with Charles River Development (CRD) IMS/OMS platforms.
• Familiarity with SnapLogic or other enterprise ETL and workflow orchestration tools.
• Frontend experience with Vue or similar JavaScript-based frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related technical field.
