Lead Data Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $125,400 - $181,875

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
• Translate highly complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Enforce data governance, security, and quality standards across the platform.
• Mentor engineers and lead code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align technical solutions with enterprise direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6 to 8+ years of data engineering experience with enterprise-scale platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Strong experience with AWS and modern data platforms.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
