What you will do

• Lead and manage end-to-end payroll operations for 8,000+ employees across all 50 states.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in payroll tax, garnishments, and multi-state compliance.
• Oversee payroll integrations for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions and system alignment.
• Evaluate and optimize payroll processes, controls, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal departments to support payroll readiness and compliance.
• Mentor and develop a large payroll team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience in a large, complex organization.
• Proven experience managing payroll for 8,000+ employees across all 50 states.
• Strong expertise in multi-state payroll tax compliance and M&A integration.
• Demonstrated proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and advanced Excel.
• Ability to operate effectively as both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• ADP Enterprise experience.
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.
