What you will do

• Oversee payroll systems, Workday changes, and high-volume weekly payroll processing for multi-state operations.
• Manage and mentor a payroll team, ensuring all deadlines are met and leadership is kept informed.
• Maintain SOX compliance and serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits.
• Manage year-end reconciliation and W2 processing.
• Review payroll audits and preview reports to ensure accuracy for field and corporate staff.
• Lead cross-functional projects and recommend process improvements to optimize operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience processing high-volume, multi-state payroll for a mid to large company.
• Hands-on expertise with Workday HCM/Payroll and Time and Attendance systems.
• Strong knowledge of current payroll-related laws and regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Plantation, FL.
