Actuarial Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Develop analytical tools to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clinical and benefit advisors to create strategic client approaches.
• Model medical and pharmacy costs and identify their primary drivers.
• Analyze and communicate the financial impact of changing medical or pharmacy networks using pricing models.
• Implement new processes to enhance company efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong analytical skills demonstrated through coursework and professional experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data management/database tools.
• Completion of at least one actuarial exam is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Current Life & Health licensure or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
• Prior experience working in a broker environment.
